Rodrigo Osorio
Chef Rodrigo Osorio is a Spanish chef from Cantabria and the executive chef of the Michelin-starred Asador Alfonso in Alfonso, Cavite, a Spanish grill restaurant set on nine hectares of Taal volcano-inspired grounds. He worked three years at Gallery by Chele and trained in Michelin-starred kitchens in Spain before Chef Chele González chose him to head the kitchen. There, he works with ingredients sourced directly from Spain, cooking over the Horno Castellano Jumaco wood-fired oven to produce dishes that balance rustic simplicity with extraordinary depth. Signature dishes like the house-aged A5 Wagyu ham and suckling pig have made Asador Alfonso one of the country's most singular gastronomic destinations and a rare expression of authentic Spanish grilling tradition outside of Spain. He also helms Alfonso Roasting Room, a more casual, family-friendly extension of the same philosophy.
