Chele González

Gallery by Chele

Chef Chele González is originally from northern Spain and trained in some of the world's most acclaimed kitchens, including El Bulli, Mugaritz, and El Celler de Can Roca, before arriving in the Philippines on what was meant to be a short vacation. He never left. His flagship, Gallery by Chele in BGC, earned both a Michelin Star and a Michelin Green Star, while Asador Alfonso, his Spanish roasting house in Cavite, claimed a star of its own, making him one of the most decorated chefs in the country. He calls it "anthropological cuisine," with the Philippines at the heart, and has spent over a decade proving it.

This list represents a personal experience and preference. More than the order of ranking, I nominated these establishments because they are a unique group with interesting vibes and good food
