Butz Tenchavez
Los Tacos, Pluck, Toka Wine
Chef Butz Tenchavez is a Quezon City-based wine importer and restaurateur. He studied a certificate course at the French Culinary Institute in New York before founding Gran Hacienda Wines, a small independent importer that supplies some of the country's most respected restaurants. His wine bar, Toka Wine in Katipunan, doubled as an incubator for emerging culinary talent through its quarterly Will Host chef series, and he has since co-founded Los Tacos and Pluck with chefs Pat Curitana and Ralph Sy. Equal parts wine guy and restaurant builder.
