Bar The Back Room

The Back Room is a hidden speakeasy located within the Shangri-La Hotel at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Since opening in late 2018, it quickly entered the ranks of Asia's 50 Best Bars in 2019. The bar takes its Prohibition-era theme seriously, from the 1920s decor to the flat caps, waistcoats, and flapper dresses worn by the team. The cocktail menu focuses on Prohibition-era inspired drinks. There is also a hidden drinks lab on site where various distillates are produced, including the bar's own Bee's Knees gin.
