Cafe Mabini
The cafe is the brainchild of Itchyworms bassist Kelvin Yu and chefs Kalel Chan and Francis Lacson, serving as a tribute to Kelvin’s late father who always dreamed of having a breakfast space on the property. Since opening in 2021, Cafe Mabini has evolved beyond traditional breakfast fare, offering a creative and modern spin on Filipino comfort food classics alongside European influences.
The menu features generous portions of dishes like the Ruben’s Sandwich with house-cured corned beef, Ube Pancakes with white chocolate ganache, Squash-Caldo (a Hainan-style squash-based arroz caldo), Black Garlic La Paz Batchoy, and a variety of silog breakfast plates including Grilled US Beef Tapa and Homemade Spam-Bini. Hand-stretched pizzas are also available, such as the Kwatro Keso and All-Karne. The cafe is known for its warm, cozy ambiance and friendly service, though the indoor space can feel a bit tight when full.
