Lazy Suzy, Your Local, Lanai Bacolod

Chef Patrick Go is a Manila-based chef whose cooking is rooted in the Filipino-Chinese flavors he grew up eating. He came up in the original Black Sheep in BGC and has since built a portfolio of his own concepts, most notably Gochugang, his modern Korean comfort food restaurant. He currently helms Your Local, Lazy Suzy, and Lanai Bacolod, three of the most distinct and interesting restaurants in the local dining scene today. Quietly prolific and consistently underrated, he is one of the more resilient figures working in Philippine food right now.

At Helm, the themed set menu — Harry Potter — is amazing
At Linamnam, the best Filipino tasting menu includes the inihaw na baboy fried rice
At Kása Palma, the tasting menu is unique, delicious, and fun — especially the tupig with caviar
